Thunder Bay Burlesque Academy is led by Roxy Horror: a seasoned burlesque performer, choreographer, and instructor with 15 years of experience on the stage and in the studio. Roxy brings not only a deep love for the art of burlesque, but also a passion for creating spaces where everyone can feel celebrated in their bodies.

Our classes focus on fun, embodied movement. They are a chance to connect with yourself through playful sexy expression, whatever that means for you! Whether you've never set foot in a dance studio before, or are coming with dance experience, our classes are designed to be welcoming, accessible, and fun. We believe that burlesque is for every body.
